    problem with fedora core-2 installation.

    Hi,
    I have Compaq sr1235il desktop pc, p-4 2.8 GHz,mother board- micro star international , version-030, Gamila/Giovani/Neon series.
256 mb ram, 40 gb hard disk. I have dual partion 30GB with Windows-XP prof and 10 GB Red Hat 9.0. When I try to upgrade from RedHat9.0 to Fedora Core-2 My system restarts. The same problem I faced when i format 10 GB partion and try for fresh installation of fedora core-2. But no problem with redhat 9.0. The same fedora core-2 cds i tried install in other pcs but able to install. Can u please guide me what may be the problem???

Maybe your discs are somehow corrupted. Try using a different set and whilst your at it, you may wish to get a newer version of Fedora Core since FC2 is no longer officially supported.

BIOS Upgrade is an irreversible process. you can't degrade later on. check MoBo Website for instruction.
