Thats all i did for my connection..

Is that for setting it up for wireless or wired? Right now I just want to set it up for wired. I'm still a little confused on what to do. I created a profile when I went into the network configuration now what?

Wired or wireless..
Now that you had created . just activate that connection..

do i need to add a new device type in the network config window? Under the Network Config window I went under the tab profile>new. I created a profile but it never asked me for a password. I'm thinking that I need to add my adapter, but adapter isn't on there. Any suggestions?
