    Change Apache port number

    Hi Expert,

I am a beginner in linux and want to change port no. of Apache from 80 to 81.

I have edit /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf as below
    #Listen 12.34.56.78:80
    #Listen 80
    Listen 81

and restart the service /usr/sbin/apachectl start
but it seems fail to access if I internally access the apache http://192.168.1.1:81. Also, I have try to scan the listening port of this linux can no port 81 is under listening. I just wonder I step I have missed.
