Hi. When I boot Linux, the terminal (the SSH console thing) appears, instead of the graphical interface. How do I fix this? I'm running FC6, BTW. Thanks in advance....

- 12-30-2006 #2Are you logging in remotely w/ ssh? Or do you just mean the Linux command prompt? If you're using ssh you'll need to get X-forwarding set up. Otherwise, you can try executing the startx command. Post any error messages you receive here.

Oh, nevermind! I rebooted it just now and it the graphics appeared fine, somehow. No, I wasn't login remotely--yes it's the Linux command prompt, I guess. I did tried typing startx, but it displayed an error (don't remember).
Nonetheless, thanks!
