Question Dual Booting Fedora 6 and Ubuntu

    Hi all

I want to do a dual boot of ubuntu & Fedora Core 6! I already have ubuntu installed and I don't wana mess up anything. Is there a way to install Fedora & Ubuntu as a dual boot type thing? Also how much space does the Fedoea core 6 take up?

    Thanks

create free/unpartitioned space for Fedora. you can use GParted LiveCD to resize/create partitions. Fedora needs atleast 6-8GB disk space. Fedora's GRUB doesn't recognize other installed distros except Windows. you have to edit Fedora's grub.conf file to add an entry for Ubuntu.

after installing Fedora, mount Ubuntu Partition and copy 'title, root, kernel and initrd lines ( first title block ) from its /boot/grub/menu.lst file and paste in Fedora's /boot/grub/grub.conf file.
