    DNS and netscape/firefox?

    Hi all
I think I am going crazy!
When I do an nslookup from the command line, domain names resolve quickly. But when I use netscape or firefox, they often seem to take forever. The browsers are definitely using /etc/resolv.conf, because if I comment out the nameserver entries, the browsers stop working altogether. But why are they taking so long when the command line is fast?
Thanks so much if you can help me!

    Same problem???

I think I got the same problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ip resolving work fine, routing as well, when I ping from command line, using host name, my Fedora 5 resolve it's IP address and try to reach it, but when I try to browse the same host using Firefox, it seems that It will open it, but then the browser stall "waiting for xxx".
How can I solve the problem?
    Thank you in advance....
