How do I install MySQL 3.23 and 4.1 from RPM's on the same server?

    Hi.

I have a server (FC6) that need to have both the packages from mysql-3.23.58-16.RHEL3.1 (RHEL3) and mysql-server-4.1.20-1.RHEL4.1 (RHEL4).

Now I was wondering how to install both these packages so that both mysql versions are available. The 4.1 version should be the default one.

    With best regards,

Yes it is possible but you just need to run them on diff ports.
