    Can't log On to Linux

    Hey there,

A while back i partitioned my computer to make room for Fedora which i installed succesfully. I was gonna use Fedora mainly for a class i was taking. So now i have that class, and i tried getting onto Fedora but it prompts me with a username and password which i have no recollection of setting up. I tried changing the "session" to GNOME but that doesn't help either.

So how do i log on ????

    thanx for your time.

Do you forget your password? Did you remember the root password?

Cool, if u dnt know the pasword or if u have forgotten ur root password, switch to init level 1 at the time of booting up, and change the password for whomever u want.

N.B.: u can do this if u hve't protected ur boot loader with any passowrd

    Gud luk

in GRUB screen, select Fedora title and press 'e'. select 'kernel' line, press 'e' again and add <space> single at the end of line. press 'Enter' key and press 'b' to boot up.

Yes of course you can, but I don't remember how exactly. Try to type help under GURB. As I remember that option was there.
