Need help with udev and usb palm pilot

Okay, a couple days ago I had it so that my palm pilot would be found and I could sync and everything was pretty good. But then I had to reboot and now it doesn't work anymore. If I put udev in debug output mode and tail -f /var/log/messages and I can see output from udev. Like I can unplug my usb mouse and plug it back in and it will show that it found the mouse. But when I plug in my palm cradle and hit sync on the cradle it doesn't show anything at all in udev. It's like nothing happened at all. Even an error message would be nice but it gives me nothing. I have the visor module loaded so I really don't know what else to do. Can anyone please give me any suggestions on where to start to fix this? Thanks. I'm running FC5.
