    vsftpd issue


    Hi,

    My /var/log/vsftpd.log is growing. It's around 3GB now. Is there a way to delete it without stopping the vsftpd service. This is on Redhad release 7.2

    If you don't need any of the information kept in the log file then you can simply delete it. From within the /var/log directory, as root:
    Code:
    #rm -f vsftpd.log
    No need to stop and restart the service.
