You can type in alsamixer in the console. You should then see a bunch of bars that represent audio settings of all sorts (or supported by your sound card).

I tougt I alredy have modules for my integrated sound card......

Well I would first find out the make, model and chipset for your sound card.
Then search for drivers for your sound card that match the distrobution of linux you are using. If all is good and you find the correct drivers, read the instructions for the installation.
