    I can see the cd when I go to ctrl pannel . I can't see the D drive . That where the cd is . do you thinkk there is no boot file on the cd..Thanks

    how did you burn Installation CDs? check CD1 on other machine.

    check if your BIOS settings are correct. insert indows Installation CD and boot up. does your machine boot up from Windows Installation CD?

    I downloaded the dvd image. the I burned the 5 cd using nero.. I just installed windows in this laptop . so I know that is bootable .. any other options .. Thanks

    i am asking again, how did you burn CDs?
    did you chose 'Burn Image to Disc' option in Nero?
