    Need help: Deleted ld-linux.so.2

    Hi,

Deleted the soft-link ld-linux.so.2 on my linux box. Nothing works - as this is referred by almost all programs.

Clueless on what to do now. Any help to recover from this will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

Get a bootable linux distro such as damnsmalllinux or knoppix, boot with that and mount your hard disk, then it's as easy as:
    cd /<mountpoint>/lib
    sudo ln -s ld-2.5.so ld-linux.so.2
