    Talking RHEL version ?


    I use RHEL version 4.6L nahant update 1. Is this the latest version ? I have been given 4 cds which indicate upto update 4. What should i do? Can i have have a dual boot with windows, with primarily RHEL installed ?

    RHEL 4 update 4 is the latest release.
    RHEL is also a license version of software so to get updates you need to register with RedHat, that'll cost you some money. With out you registering it you will not be able to get updates from RedHat.
    To avoid that above get Fedora 6.

    Yes you can have a dual boot system.

    Thank you, as i already have the nahant update 4 cd in hand, and the version on the computer is nahant update 1, can i update it to version 4? Kindly indicate to me how to go about it ?
