    hi sarvap !

    Welcome to the LinuxForums.

Fedora Core doesn't support mp3, .dat and .mpeg formats out of box. install xine and xmms for these.
    Code:
    yum -y install xmms xmms-mp3
    yum -y install xine xine-lib xine-skins
both packages are available in Freshrpms repository.
