vsftpd help needed (user privileges)
Hello
this is my first post here.. i tried doing a lot of reading before to find my answers but i couldn't so i hope someone can help me.
I've setup vsftpd and am able to log in fine on Fedora 6 Zod. I have 3 users;
ftpadmin - this is the admin account that should be allowed to move/delete files and folders
allads - this account should be able to upload to any folder but not able to delete or overwrite files
clientads - this account is restricted to only access the ads folder. they should not be allowed to delete or overwrite folders either.
the structure of the directories is as follows
/home/ftp
/home/ftp/ads
/home/ftp/MajorClient1
/home/ftp/MajorClient2
so the 'allads' user is able to see all folders but not able to navigate to root directory.
and the 'clientads' user is only able to access the ads folder
so like i said.. everything access wise is working, but i want to restrict the privileges of the 2 users to not be able to delete, move or overwrite files or folders.
any help would be highly appreciated!
