Time For init.d Stop Requests
This is more of a general Linux question rather than a Redhat-specific question...but does anyone know how long a given script in init.d is given to stop a service during system shutdown? Also, is this configurable? I am concerned that my application will be killed prematurely during a system shutdown which could cause data corruption, so I want to make sure I am allowing for ample time to do a proper shutdown.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
