Hello Linux Forum,

I am new joiner to Linux, i have installed the Linux OS and working with it now.

I m supposed to set the Online parameter by compiling
so from the installini directory
i have run the cmd

[root@localhost /]# cd /home/online/source.37.02/utils/installini
[roott@localhost installini]# make -f installini.mak
proc INCLUDE=/home/online/source.37.02/lib/allsql INCLUDE=/home/online/source.37.02/lib/allacq
installini.pc
make: proc: Command not found
make: *** [installini.c] Error 127

this is the error message i m getting
So how to check the ProC command

i have tried the command -- /proc/version
but the error is permission denied

How to overcome this error message
