Question question rega compatibility in 64 bit processorrding 32 bit Linux

I am going to buy a 64 X 2 AMD processor based laptop.
I have RED HAT 4 enterprise edition cds with me.
But the red hat version i am having is 32 bit version.
Would I be able to install the 32 bit version on my 64 bit laptop?
wat would be the problems if any?
    What do you suggest?

Is there going to be any problem in regards that linux would not be able to install on Sata hard drives?

    Please suggest...

None that I'm aware of. In fact, you'll probably have less problems installing the 32-bit version on your 64-bit machine than you would installing the 64-bit version.

If they're regular SATA, no. If they're SATA II or if they're set up in any kind of a RAID configuration, you're likely to have problems.
