HELP!!! My resolution is so screwed up!
I am running Fedora Core 6 Zod and my resolution is sooo messed up. I tried to run the Display Configuration but it only gives me one option for my resolution and that is 640x480 and everythig is huge. When the X server is not running, everything is just fine, in text mode. But as soon as the graphical user interface loads right after initializing the hardware, the monitor cant fit the whole image n the screen. Help!

in GRUB screen, select Fedora title and press 'e'. select 'kernel' line, press 'e' again and add <space> 3 at the end of line. press 'Enter' key and press 'b' to boot up. this will drop you on command line login prompt. log in as root and execute this
configure display and resolutions. in case your Monitor is not listed in Monitors List, select 'Generic' Monitor.Code:system-config-display
reboot.
CasperIt is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
