    script command?

    unfamiliar with the script command...
    is there an easy way to eliminate the control characters?
    I've tried using different text programs, but they all have either control characters or unknown characters.

    I'm pretty sure when you cat the script file, the control characters are eliminated, so you can cat it to lpr.
