    No new window for each new Dir.?


    Can I make it so that everytime I open a new directory it doesnt open in a new window? it will just open in the one already open?

    Hi Van Halen Man. I like just a one window file browser too. To fix this, open a terminal and as user go:
    Code:
    gconf-editor
    Look under "Apps" then "Nautilus" then "Preferences." Tick on "always_use_browser" and close. That's it.

    Edit -> Preferences -> Behavior
    Click Always open in browser windows
