    skip eth0/eth1?

Can I make it so that when FC6 is booting that it skips checking eth0 and eth1? Because it takes a while to boot without them, it takes a couple minutes until it finally says that it failed.

See under /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts. There are files by name ifcfg-eth0, ifcfg-eth1 and so on. Open the appropriate in a text editor (vi or nano) and set ONBOOT=no in it.
