Can you please let me know how were you able to make the skin working for your player?

I placed all skin files inside skin folder and the structure can be seen below but somehow the gmplayer is not able to read it:

    [root@identitycrisis skin]#ls /usr/local/share/mplayer/skins/default/skin

    OUTPUT:
    balance.png barsetup.png menus-pl.png setup.png
    bal-button.png barstop.png menus.png skin
    barequ.png barvolume.png mp-abyss-icon32x32.png stop.png
    barexit.png close.png mp-abyss-icon48x48.png sub.png
    barffwd.png eject.png mute.png subtxt.png
    barfs.png equ.png next.png symbols.fnt
    barfwd.png ffwd.png playbar.png symbolsg.fnt
    barmute.png font.fnt playlist.png symbols.png
    barplay.png font.png play.png VERSION
    barpl.png full.png prev.png vol-button.png
    barprogress.png main.png progres-long.png volume.png
    barrev.png menu-pl.png README
    barrevv.png menu.png revv.png

I tried placing the folder inside this directory but still the error message persists:

    [root@identitycrisis skin]# gmplayer
    MPlayer 1.0rc4-4.4.4 (C) 2000-2010 MPlayer Team
    [skin] file ( /usr/local/share/mplayer/skins/default/skin ) not readable.
    Skin not found (default).

    Hello

This thread is over 4 years old so I'm locking it down. Please feel free to start a thread of your own if you are having any problems with Linux.

    Thank you.
