    SATA Harddisk

    i have AMD Athlon 3500+, 1 GB RAM, 250 HDD SATA, when ever i am trying to install redhat linux 9.0 i got the problem with HDD. how to install linux in SATA harddisk it ask some Third party drivers

    Welcome to the LinuxForums.

    RedHat 9 is too old and it doesn't support a lot of new chipsets. i suggest you to try Fedora Core or CentOS.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
