    Kscripts not running during reboot.

I have a bunch of Start and Kill scripts in the /etc/rc.d directories. When the system comes up in runlevel 3, all the start up scripts run fine. However, when I reboot, all the K-scripts in runlevel 6 dont run, because I do not see anything on the screen. Any ideas as to why that might be so??

    Thanks,
    Nik

ok..i found the problem. Apparently the /etc/rc.d/rc file needs a status file for each process in the /var/lock/subsys dir. If the empty file is not in that dir and you still have K script in rc6.d or rc0.d init will not kill that process.
    hope this helps....
