    more information is required to answer this properly

    are you typing it manually, cause that becomes a variable time, depends how long the command is and how quick you type.

    If you are doing something like

    Code:
    ps aux > /tmp/file;cat /tmp/file
    this timing is based on CPU cycles because the command is executed directly after the previous command returns an exit code.
