dual boot problems
i am running federa core, and have my boot, swap, and main linux partition on my master harddrive. On my slave i have windows 98 only. When i boot up, i can choose either fedora or dos from grub. Fedora works fine, but when i select DOS, this is what i get-
'Booting DOS'
rootnoverify (hd1,0)
chainloader +1
I'm new to this stuff, so i really have no idea about specifics. Do i need to make my windows 98 drive the master and put the boot loader on that? Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Windows does like the second disk.
Windows does like to be on the second drive. GRUB is supposed to be able
to handle this. Take a look at
http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/man...#DOS%2fWindows
and check your GRUB configuration.
The second thing to check is your BIOS. Have you used two hard disks before? I had put linux on the second disk and I could not boot it since the BIOS was not looking at it at boot time.
