So a newb i am here

    Hey,
I've played around with Fedore core a little before, but now im trying to get Fedora Core 7 onto a drive with Windows XP. I have a 40 GB partition set for it, I just cant get my computer to boot off the DVD I made with Nero 6. If someone could list me some steps, and a reason why when I tell my pc to boot off of my dvd , it skips it before I can read text and goes to boot windows.

thats what I thought, but I thought I'd double check before wasting another DVD. Im fairly new with Nero, could you possibly walk me though how to do it all? I saw the option but it had the a:\ drive and another one below it.

UPDATE: burning a bootable disc now

the only problem I had with the previous fedora core was drivers. My ati drivers wouldnt install.

How did you Burn .iso image? select BURN Image to Disk' option in Nero.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Use the "Burn Image" feature and select the ISO, don't burn ae bootable CD
