    @gvlinux

    Here is a link to the drivers for your card. My laptop has the same card. It will not be easy to get this running in F7, but I have included a link to the files and a link to a guide that may help. Good luck!

    Drivers:
    Compaq Presario 2100 Notebook PC series*-* Broadcom WLAN Network Adapters Driver for Windows XP - HP Business Support Center

    Guide (look at the 6th post, its by charlie_D):

    I would recommend using NDISWrapper with the Windows drivers, instead of the "native" Linux driver, bcm43xx. It just works better.

    NDISWrapper should be available through YUM.

    EDIT: I see that Fedora 7 may have problems with NDISWrapper. You may need to follow the How-To guide.

    While NDISwrapper is a good solution, there are some issues with it in F7. I dont completely understand them, but I know I spent 3+ hours trying to get it to work never did. While I spent a similar amount of time tweaking the bcm43xx_mac80211 stuff, it works and provides far better speeds than I ever had with NDISwrapper in the past on any distro.

    bcm43xx-fwcutter

    I didn't read through the entire post on here, but I have used bcm43xx-fwcutter in the past with different distros with great success so you may try it rather than ndiswrapper. Which I have had little success with in Fedora.

    I did see some comments about not using the native linux driver, (I assume the one fwcutter attempts to download) and thought it was worth adding that you can use the windows driver and use fwcutter to extract from the windows driver. You don't have to use the scripted actions of fwcutter. Just consult the man pages.

    Just my two cents.
