    Thunderbird Install How


    I cant find a way to install thunderbird. I have download the package
    and unzipped it.

    Yum install thunderbird gives errors n doesnt work.

    what is the format of downloaded package? tar.bz, tar.gz OR .rpm?
    Yum install thunderbird gives errors n doesnt work.
    could you please post the exact error message here.

    its in - thunderbird-2.0.0.4.tar.gz format.
    It would be good if I can install softwares using yum.

    Will post the error soon ... trying to reproduce the error.

    Ok, I managed to unzipp it using command line., got these files. Now next what pl

    You're much better off installing with yum.
    Try
    Code:
     yum clean all
    and then
    Code:
    yum -y install thunderbird
