Internet problems
Greetingz every1,
i just got myself a cable connection for the net. I have Red Hat Linux 8 and a newbie, when i start Linux from the GRUB menu, it cannot identify my net connection. As a reason i cannot use the net from Linux. How can this b resolved. Thanx in advance.

Run dhcpcd and see if it gets an address from the DHCP server. Also did you activate your modem? Most cable providers make you call and activate it by giving them the MAC address to associate with your account.
