Keeping cpan perl modules consistent for all users in small network
We have a small linux department (~10 users) with no experts for sys admin. We have started playing around with perl for accessing our database. I have written a few scripts for these purposes. This has involved installing some cpan modules as the superuser. However only I can execute the script as others in the network do not have the required modules. Is there a way to log on as all other users on all other computers on our network so that the required perl modules can be installed. It would make sense that all computers/users have consistent packages so all our scripts work.
We have similar issues with some of our R and python scripts that require other packages and modules. How can we keep these maintained? I am fairly new to linux and am attempting to dive in at the deep end by learning to be assistant sysadmin.
