graphics using c

Hi,
I am using RH Enterprise 4. I tried a lot but can't find any method for graphics programming
using C. is there any function like "initgraph()" or header file like graphich.h in Linux?
How can I do a graphics programming under linux?????????
Please help .............

Graphics programming

Depending on what you are looking to do, there are a few different libraries you might want to take a look at.

If you just want to make a regular GUI program, you probably want to look at GTK+ (or Qt, if you are using C++).

If you really want to do lower-level graphics stuff, you should probably look at SDL.
