Just check which kernel you are currently running uname -r.
Probably it's 2.6.9-55

Remove all the vmlinuz, config and initrd files that are other then your running kernel.

Uninstall all other kernels.

i dont have Yum on my server
its an Enterprise...

so i try this:

# rpm -e vmlinuz-2.6.9-22.0.2

but i got this

error: package vmlinuz-2.6.9-22.0.2 is not installed


i ain't working with linux much
so a little help is appreciated

i tried the same on an another server
with distro Centos

and i got this...:

# yum remove vmlinuz-2.6.9-22
Setting up Remove Process
No Match for argument: vmlinuz-2.6.9-22
No Packages marked for removal
