I did everything step by step but when I complete step "modprobe ndiswrapper" my laptop just freeze and the only thing I can do is to shutdown it pressing power switch.
During this how-to I've got "no such module" when tried to delete modules b43 and ssb.
NDiswrapper version 1.52.
Before I used madwifi, but when I upgraded kernel it stopped work, so I try to configure ndiswrapper now.

added: looked through ndiswrapper manual and found when I press ndiswrapper -l and get alternative driver from madwifi. It's listed only in /etc/modprobe.conf~ I should only delete string "alias wlan0 ath_pci"?
P.S.: ifconfig see only eth0 whick is wired network.

What wireless are you using? Use lspci command to see. I would suggest installing madwifi again since your wireless was working with it. Just make sure to clean older madwifi and ndiswrapper installations and remove any modules that are loaded.

Remove ndiswrapper by typing
Code:
make uninstall
in the dir you unpacked ndiswrapper. Then
Quote:
rmmod ndiswrapper
to remove module. Then recompile madwifi. It should get you going.
