Question Webcam Drivers on HP Laptop for Fedora 8

Hi,
I have managed to download the source from Linux UVC driver & tools and compile them for my kernel. Now the webcam is getting detected as "HP Webcam" but unfortunately i am not able to view the video output as the applications are crashing ( i have tried wsnap & camstream) both of them are crashing.

Pls advise. Below is the output from /var/log/dmesg file

cat /var/log/dmesg | grep HP

uvcvideo: Found UVC 1.00 device HP Webcam (064e:a110)

I have tried the latest luvcview-20070512.tar.gz, it doesn't work

but atleast the aMSN's Cam Shooter plug-in version 0.2 works

will try and find out if there's a standalone version of Cam Shooter is available

cheers,

Vikram
