Need assistance in building CODEC driver for ALSA

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I need your assistance in developing CODEC driver.
I want to build ALSA codec driver for Micronas DAC3550A chip.

In linux source 2.6.23 ---- /linux-2.6.23/sound/alsa/soc/codecs/
there are built-in codec drivers wm8731,wm9712 etc.
But there is no driver for dac3550 chip.

My platfrom details:
--------------------
Kernel version : linux-2.6.23
Architecture : AT91RM9200
Processor : ARM

From the Documentation avilable in /linux-2.6.23/Documentation/sound/alsa/
I understood that we need platform, machine and codec driver to bring up Audio support.

So, i am using....

Platform driver : at91-i2s.c
Machine driver : ?
codec driver : ?

I have to build these machine and codec drivers...for my platform.
Any information from yuo regarding these drivers will help me a lot.

Thanking you,
Regards,
Janardhan
