Redhat Advanced Server 2.1, unable to connect to rh network

I have installed Redhat Advanced Server 2.1 on Dell Optiplex GX1. To update the errata , when I run "up2date" it first asks me to register on the Redhat network by running "rhn_register". When I run "rhn_register" it opens the screen but finally fails to connect saying unknown host. From the linux machine I am able to browse to www.redhat.com using konqueror browser but when I click the link to connect to redhat network, it fails.

Many thanks in advance.
