how to run mp3, wmv, avi file in Redhat enterprise linux es

hi,
i am new to linux i install linux in my mechine. I have some mp3, wmv, avi files how to play that files. Its asking me to download realplayer. I download realplayer from net. Its dot bin file its not installing in my OS. How to install this. Did really i need realpayer r any other media player i want? Please help me .

Download the realplayer package here
Then run the following
Code:
rpm -ihv RealPlayer-*.rpm

you can also install mplayer or vlc. Just run
Code:
yum install mplayer
or
Code:
yum install vlc

Hi tiersen,
Now i am using internet in windows xp. and i download the realplayer from the link which u gave and i took the file to the linux mechine and i try to install with the command which u gave. then error is coming "lsb >= 3.1 is needed by realplayer" how to solve this?

yeah I see, the LSB dependency package isn't installed.
The following command should work
Code:
yum --nogpgcheck localinstall RealPlayer*.rpm

By the way you might need to install xine xine libs and the w32 codecs all can be done from yum

HEY man just install wine and u can run all those realplayer ,jet audio,mp9 and so on

"YUM INSTALL WINE" for fedrora
