| X freezes on startup I just did a fresh install of Fedora 9, went through all the updates, installed ISPConfig and ColdFusion 8 and after restarting the system, when I have it set to runlevel 5, as it boots to the login screen, I see the background, a blank bar on the bottom of the screen and no more login prompt.
If I change to runlevel 3 and login as a user and run 'startx', the window system starts and I get my bottom task bar, all desktop icons are clickable, but the top bar that has the time and all the applications is completely frozen. I am using Gnome.
Is there something I could uninstall and reinstall to maybe fix this issue? Everything work great up until I configured my system for ISPConfig and ColdFusion 8. |
