Network device name changes after update

G'day. I upgraded my machine to FC9 recently from FC8. Everytime when there are updates available & I perform those updates, after reboot 1 of my network device name always changes. In this case, eth1_rename changes to dev2660 or something. Each time I have to delete both network devices & restart then both network devices are detected as eth0 & eth1_rename again. The problem is the dev2660 is not constant, that means each time there is an update, on reboot the device name could be dev930 or dev2550 & etc. Therefore, each time I must delete both network devices for FC9 to detect them correctly in order for the iptables & Internet access to work.
Any help or suggestion is much appreciated. Thank you.
