| Error in System clock Gents,
I have a dual-boot setup in my PC. I have Fedora 9 as well as Windows 2000. The installation of Fedora 9 was very recent (2 weeks back). I am now facing a strange bug in my PC (could be in Windows, or in Linux).
My geographical location is Calcutta, which +5.30 GMT. I have configured my Windows clock based on it. First I set the GMT time, and then set it to Calcutta time zone. The time displayed was exactly correct. It was around 2:30PM GMT and around 8:00PM IST.
I then logged into Fedora, and found out that the system clock was showing a different time. It was showing a time which was +5:30 Hrs ahead. It was like Fedora has taken that 8:00PM IST is actually 8:00 GMT, and added +5:30 Hrs again. In my Fedora also I have set the time as Calcutta only.
Has any noticed such a thing before?
