now man the other day i was just trying to get my mic working in F10...

i googled through & ultimately found one....

he told to modify the /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf.dist file by adding this at the end:

but now when i restarted it's booting but fedora is not starting..... a blank screen comes up......
i know the problem must have been caused because the model is defferent.........
donno how to rescue it... plz suggest me some method to enter the fedora filesystem and modify that file............

Ouch. Yeah typically if you boot from the installation CD/DVD you should see a "Recovery" option. This is essentially booting a ramdisk image. So, you'll have to manually mount the appropriate partition (the one that has /etc on it) and then use your favorite editor (emacs, vi, etc.) to edit the file and remove that last line. Obviously this means you'll need to make sure you mounted the partition in rw mode. Good luck.

Or Boot up from LiveCD of any Linux distro, mount / partition and edit file.
