Question [SOLVED] Cannot boot to Fedora 10 DVD

Hi! I am in the process of upgrading a machine from Fedora 9 to Fedora 11. However, I need to upgrade to Fedora 10 before upgrading to Fedora 11. I downloaded the Fedora 10 DVD iso file and I have burned it to the disk, but when I power on the machine it will not boot to the DVD. I have gone into the BIOS and ensured the DVD-ROM drive is first in the boot order? Can anyone be of assistance?

Welcome to the forums!

It sounds like it could be a bad burn to DVD. You can check this howto for steps in properly downloading and burning the disk:

If you are sure the disk is good, post any errors you are getting and/or more details on exactly what is happening when you try to boot with it and maybe someone can help.

1) please check sha256 or sha1 check sum of Installation DVD ISO before burning installation DVD.

2) After burning, if booted, please check integrity of installtion media.
