Are you able to get to the command-prompt?
It can be accessed using CTRL+ALT+F1.

Login as root and run redhat-config-xserver (or something like that)
I don't remember the exact command now.
It could be redhat-config-xfree86 or redhat-config-x as well.
Try them out..
Just type redhat-config-x and then hit tab. It should auto-complete.

if you only changed the file once it will still be there with a ~ at the end
you could also try xf86config or xf86cfg

All I want to do is open the xorg.conf file and edit it. Is that possiable on ternimal Is there any easy way to disable dual moniter and just use 1 moniter in terimal, because thats whats keeping x sever from booting?

Ok, I forgot, FC2 has X.org server right? and not the XFree86 server....
The config file for X.org server is /etc/xorg.conf

Apart from that, I don't know whether FC2 ships with any configuration tool...

Edit:
After checking the package list from FC site, I think you can use system-config-display
But I'm not sure of it as I'm not running FC.
