Hi strycnine,

The URL for an RPM of xmms-mp3 (for FC3) can be found here: http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat....i386.rpm.html.

To install it, open a terminal and do the following:
Code:
cd <directory of rpm>
su
<root password>
rpm -ivh <name of rpm>
Hope that helps,
Bryan

go to www.freshrpms.net and download yum for fedora core, import your security keys and that will be it run again the comand yum -y update , yum -y install xmms-mp3.
here is the link:
http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrp...hrpms-release/ (for rpm yum)
http://freshrpms.net/RPM-GPG-KEY-freshrpms (to import your security key).
remember you can always set up your yum repos manualy, whatever works better for you man.

if you really want to yum it, add the livna repositories to /etc/yum.conf

[livna-stable]
name=Livna.org Fedora Compatible Packages (stable)
baseurl= http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/3/i386/RPMS.stable
gpgcheck=1

[livna-unstable]
name=Livna.org Fedora Compatible Packages (unstable)
baseurl=http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/3/i386/RPMS.unstable
gpgcheck=1

[livna-testing]
name=Livna.org Fedora Compatible Packages (testing)
baseurl=http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/3/i386/RPMS.testing
gpgcheck=1

Also import the gpg key:

and read

Send a message via AIM to sxeraverx Send a message via MSN to sxeraverx
You could also try (g)mplayer, which I personally like.
