how to put an image as a cdrom

i installed FC3 from hd (iso images) reason being that i dun have a cdrom now when i install something it asks for a disk to complete installation and i dun have a cdrom i tried mounting
by using * # mount -o loop /root/Desktop/windows-drive/fedora/fc3-i3~2.iso /dev/cdrom/*

but got an error :
* mount: mount point /dev/cdrom/ is not a directory *
how can i do that

I could be wrong, but it sounds like a udev situation. Check in /dev and see if it's posibly being labled something else. Mine used to be labeled cdrom and cdrom1. under udev they are now dvd and cdwriter respectively. Then, it's just a matter of mounting them where you want. Mine are mounted as /mnt/dvd and /mnt/cdwriter.

mount -o loop /root/Desktop/windows-drive/fedora/fc3-i3~2.iso /mnt/iso
