Unable to start FC 4 in graphics mode

Hii
I installed FC 4 on my P4, D915 GEV MB machine.
I installed using a DVD and everything was quite fine..
Now, after I removed the DVD ROM from the machine... it fails to detect the mouse and fails to start in the graphics mode..

Everything is perfect after attaching the DVD ROM.

any clue abt what to do??

Sounds like a problem with xorg, by D915 do you mean that's the chipset?
If you want you could try replacing your /etc/xorg.conf file with a very basic one that uses the versa video driver.
Or try typing
Code:
X -configure
in a shell and see if that'll configure it for you.
