First, tell us more about your hardware. Do you have an AMD64 or Intel EM64T processor? What type of motherboard? What onboard chipset? Is your drive set to master or slave?

For future reference, when I ask you a question in the forums it's best to answer in the forums, where the answer can benefit other users. Here is what you said:

Quote:
Amd Athlon 3500+ 64 bit
200Gb IDE (master)
80GB IDE (slave)
1024 ddr pc3200
ATI X800XT platinum edition
motherboard GIGABYTE GK-K8N Ultra SLI
can you solve my problem(with the linux) ??
You're trying to install Linux on the 80GB slave drive, I take it? It should show up, but have you considered unplugging your 200GB, swapping the jumper on the 80GB to Master, and installing that way? You could then just swap back the jumper and plug back in your 200GB. The only tricky part would be getting the bootloader installed, since it would be installed by default on the 80GB drive.

Also, once you do get Linux installed you're going to have trouble with your ATI card. ATI has the worst Linux driver support on the market right now.
